XML content server provider Mark Logic Corporation, US, has announced the appointment of Simon Atkinson as managing director of Mark Logic (UK) Limited, the company's subsidiary in the UK. This appointment is seen to further strengthen the company's management team and presence in the UK.
Atkinson joins Mark Logic with 20 years of experience in the software and services markets, including senior sales and general management roles. Prior to Mark Logic, Simon was international sales director for Elite, part of Thomson Reuters and a premier provider of financial and practice management systems to the legal industry and other professional services markets.
