Information infrastructure software provider Mark Logic Corporation, US, has announced that the company's CEO, Dave Kellogg, will share how publishers can increase the value of the information delivered to mobile devices at the Online Information 2010 Conference in London. His presentation is part of a panel discussion in the 'Managing Content in a Mobile World' track on December 2. Kellogg will address 'The Mobile Opportunity: Developing a New Generation of Personalized, Task-Aware Applications for Mobile Devices' during the discussion.
The Online Information 2010 Conference is projected as the place where information experts gather to discuss how best to adapt to a changing environment. This year's conference is expected to get to the heart of these issues and demonstrate that as the social media revolution continues, organisations are finding new and innovative ways of connecting with their customers and reducing operational costs. New leaders will emerge with the vision to adapt or change their business models to embrace the opportunities created by the social web, mobile, and the cloud.
Session attendees will have the opportunity to learn why content is more valuable when it is integrated with other content and can be enriched with relevant information; how to dynamically render content from a central repository to all of the various mobile devices consumers want and put into context; and hear real-world examples demonstrating the ways in which publishers have successfully built cutting-edge mobile applications for the iPad, Nook and Kindle.
The session will be moderated by Ed Keating, Vice President, Content Division, Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). Joining Kellogg in the track session are Alan Pelz Sharpe, Principal, The Real Story Group (formerly CMS Watch), and Russell Reeder, CEO and President, LibreDigital, Inc.
