Information infrastructure software provider Mark Logic Corporation, US, has announced the appointment of Joe Dalton as the company's Chief Marketing Officer.
In his new position, Dalton will oversee the overall marketing strategy for the company including product strategy, product management, solutions marketing, developer and education programmes, as well as corporate and field marketing. Dalton has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, and entrepreneurial expertise at leading technology companies.
Dalton joins MarkLogic from Perception Software, a company he founded in 2005, and successfully led to provide engineering productivity solutions to engineering and manufacturing companies worldwide. Prior to Perception, Dalton was the general manager of the data management group at Mentor Graphics where he managed teams across the US, Germany, and Japan.
