Information infrastructure software provider Mark Logic Corporation, US, has announced that Ken Bado, a veteran technology executive, has been named chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors.
Bado, most recently served as executive vice president of sales and services at Autodesk.
Prior to his success at Autodesk, Bado spent 11 years at Mentor Graphics, in positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, customer support, and consulting before becoming senior vice president of world trade, where he managed 1,200 people.
MarkLogic's flagship product is a purpose-built database for unstructured information. Customers in industries including media, government and financial services use MarkLogic to develop and deploy information applications at a fraction of the time and cost as compared to conventional technologies such as relational databases and search engines.
