Publisher Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers has announced the publication of the World Stem Cell Report 2013, a special supplement to the peer-reviewed journal Stem Cells and Development. Dr. Graham Parker (Wayne State University School of Medicine) and Bernard Siegel (Genetics Policy Institute) serve as Co-Editors-in-Chief of the Report, joined by Rosario Isasi (McGill University) as Managing Editor.
The World Stem Cell Report is the official publication of the 2013 World Stem Cell Summit, being held December 4–6, 2013 in San Diego, CA. The Report is available to all subscribers of Stem Cells and Development and to attendees of the World Stem Cell Summit.
The Summit, presented by the Genetics Policy Institute, is the flagship meeting of the international stem cell community. The Summit aims to accelerate the discovery and development of lifesaving cures and therapies, bringing global stakeholders together to solve global challenges. It builds a foundation to advance cell therapies by establishing a supportive environment of regulation, legislation, financing, reimbursement, and patient advocacy. Attendees from more than 40 nations are expected to attend this year's meeting.
