Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers has launched Gene x Environment (GxE), an academic peer-reviewed gold open access journal with a mission to serve as a foundational resource to the burgeoning field of gene by environment.
This new journal will encompass all facets of gene by environment research including essential peer-reviewed content focused on the genetic determinants of environmental risk, environmental epigenetics, exposomics, chemical, and non-chemical stressors and health outcomes, functional genomics of complex traits, molecular epidemiology, and much more.
Spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief, Graham Parker PhD, of the Department of Pediatrics, Wayne State University School of Medicine, the Center for Urban Responses to Environmental Stressors, Detroit Michigan, and Editor-in-Chief of Stem Cells and Development, and Executive Editor of Nucleic Acid Therapeutics, GxE aims to be a premier peer-reviewed journal publishing outstanding original research and perspectives across all facets of the Gene x Environment research domains.
Researchers in the fields of epidemiology, epigenetics, genomics, genetics, exposure science, toxicology, biology, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, translational medicine, chemistry, and physics will be target audiences and key contributors of this new title.
GxE welcomes original research papers, reviews, perspectives, commentaries, and short reports on every aspect of gene by environment research.
