Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. to publish Applied Biosafety journal -

ABSA International has announced a partnership with Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers to publish their journal, Applied Biosafety: Journal of ABSA International, effective 2021. The Journal adds a dynamic component to Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.’s renowned portfolio of peer-reviewed journals in biomedical and public health research, including Health Security, Vector-Borne and Zoonotic Diseases, Foodborne Pathogens and Disease, and Viral Immunology.

Applied Biosafety (APB) is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal committed to promoting global biosafety awareness and best practices to prevent occupational exposures and adverse environmental impacts related to biohazardous releases. The Journal provides a dedicated forum for scientists, safety professionals, policymakers, engineers, architects, and governmental organisations to exchange sound biosafety and biosecurity initiatives. The Journal is committed to publishing on topics significant in well-resourced countries as well as information relevant to underserved regions.

Applied Biosafety will continue to be published quarterly in print and online, with open access options, under the editorial leadership of Coeditors-in-Chief Karen B. Byers, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Dr. Barbara Johnson, Biosafety Biosecurity International, and other leading investigators. Authors are invited to begin submitting their manuscripts now for publication in 2021.
