Information services provider McGraw-Hill Companies, US, has announced the immediate availability of the anatomy and physiology title, Ganong's Review of Medical Physiology, 23rd Edition, for iPad. The initiative is in response to students demand for more innovative and dynamic ways to access information and study on the go.
Medical school students and faculty can access the complete textbook along with interactive content including integrated assessment, high-resolution illustrations, digital media, and more, especially designed for the iPad's dynamic display. The iPad version of the title is available through Inkling, an interactive content platform for iPad.
Inkling is a free download from the iTunes Store, and a free chapter of Ganong's is available immediately for download inside the iPad app.
Ganong's Review of Medical Physiology for iPad includes over 100 anatomical diagrams with 'test yourself' mode; more than 600 high-resolution images and illustrations; interactive USMLE-style quizzes with feedback and hints; integrated animations and videos; interactive 3-D molecules; powerful cross-title search; and shared notes and highlights.
