Digital learning company McGraw-Hill Education, US, has announced its participation at this year's International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where company executives will discuss how digital innovation continues to improve the education industry and provide an update on the state of adaptive learning technology in today's classrooms. At the show, the company will debut a new user interface for SmartBook, the first adaptive reading experience for higher education, which was launched at CES last year along with the broader LearnSmart Advantage adaptive learning suite.
McGraw-Hill Education will also highlight its adaptive study tool, LearnSmart, which recently surpassed 3 million users as the market-leading adaptive learning tool in higher education. McGraw-Hill Education developed SmartBook and LearnSmart in conjunction with Denmark-based adaptive learning company Area9.
Stephen Laster, chief digital officer at McGraw-Hill Education, and Brian Kibby, president of McGraw-Hill Higher Education, will also join other thought leaders at TransformingEDU, the education conference and exhibition at CES, to share thoughts on digital courseware, personalised and adaptive learning, and what the future holds for education technology.
The event is scheduled for January 9, 9:50 a.m. at Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Room N256.
