McGraw-Hill Education TASC joins McGraw-Hill Education's line-up of high school equivalency exam prep materials -

McGraw-Hill Professional, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has announced the publication of the McGraw-Hill Education TASC, an authoritative guide to the new high school equivalency exam, TASC Test Assessing Secondary Completion™. It claims to be the only book to contain authentic TASC test questions from CTB/McGraw-Hill, the creator of the TASC test. The TASC test is a Common Core-aligned high school equivalency assessment that provides access, quality and affordability for the more than 40 million adults in the U.S. without a high school degree or equivalency.

McGraw-Hill Education TASC provides students with a comprehensive review and practice in all five exam subject areas: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Each chapter features a pre-test that helps readers identify strengths and weaknesses before study. There are complete reviews of key test content, exercises to reinforce new skills, and full-length TASC practice test sections in the new test format, with complete explanations for every question, and valuable test-taking tips and strategies. CTB/McGraw-Hill also offers test takers a complimentary practice test item sampler and an official TASC Test Readiness Assessment that is available in print and online.

McGraw-Hill Education also offers Common Core Achieve, a fully adaptive study program to help potential test takers prepare for any high school equivalency exam, including the TASC test. Rooted in the Common Core and College and Career Readiness Standards, Common Core Achieve is built on the core content instruction needed for all 2014 high school equivalency exams and, includes test preparation specific to each exam. It is available in both print and online with components that can be used separately or together.
