McGraw Hill opens nominations for 2025 Pathfinder Awards, honoring innovative educators -

McGraw Hill has announced the opening of nominations for the 2025 Pathfinder Awards, an initiative that celebrates exceptional educators who drive innovation in teaching. The awards will honor one educator from each of the PreK-12, higher education, and post-graduate categories, with each winner receiving a $5,000 cash prize. Nominations are open through January 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Now in its second year, McGraw Hill’s Pathfinder Awards will once again partner with CAST, a nonprofit organization specializing in inclusive and accessible learning design. CAST, renowned for its Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, will offer each winner a one-hour professional learning consultation focused on creating more accessible and inclusive educational experiences. A CAST Implementation Specialist will also serve as a judge for the awards.

The awards aim to recognize U.S.-based educators who:

• Pioneer new teaching methods to break educational boundaries

• Think creatively to support student success

• Make a meaningful impact on student learning outcomes

Nominations are open to both self-nominations and submissions from others, including students, colleagues, and community members. Educators do not need to be McGraw Hill customers to qualify. Entrants are asked to answer a few questions and have the option to include a video or photo.

Judging will commence in late January 2025, and winners will be announced after May 1, 2025. For more details on the nomination process and to submit a nomination, visit McGraw Hill’s website.
