The new purchasing alternative – perpetual access – is designed to give libraries more flexibility in acquiring the company's digital content to meet the growing demands from their patrons for e-books.
The McGraw-Hill eBook Library includes nearly 2,000 titles in collections that are continuously updated with new e-books. Users can access hundreds of thousands of pages of content from authors who are said to be leading authorities in the areas of engineering, computing, medical, business and student study aids.
Academic libraries will be interested in reference works such as Harrison's Manual of Medicine, Fundamentals of Radar Signal Processing and the complete catalogue of course study aides, Schaum's Outlines. Public libraries may expect to find a wealth of titles on careers and business skills, student and career exam study guides and the series of ‘How to Do Everything' books on consumer technology.
