Open access publisher MDPI has appointed Dr. Jörn Lötsch as Founding Editor-in-Chief for the new open access journal Biomedinformatics.
Dr. Jörn Lötsch is a biomedical scientist at the Goethe – University Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Jörn's fields of research are data science, pain and clinical pharmacology, with the aim to combine artificial and human intelligence in these fields. Active research topics are acquisition and computational analysis of data related to pain and analgesia in humans (biometrics), including drug effects (pharmacometrics), computational functional genomics, and next-generation gene sequencing approaches. Dr. Jörn Lötsch’s leasdership to the new journal will achieve many milestones.
