Switzerland-based open access publisher MDPI has launched a new open access journal, Publications. Dr. John J. Regazzi has been appointed as the journal's founding Editor-in-Chief.
Publications is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which seeks to provide an advanced forum for studies related to all aspects of academic, scholarly, and professional publishing. It aims to encourage scientists to publish their research and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers.
Dr. John J. Regazzi of the Long Island University has been called a 'pioneer' and 'true innovator' of the information industry with a career spanning more than 35 years. Dr. John has previously served on a wide range of industry associations at the board or senior levels in the organisations including Association of American Publishers, American Library Association, Information Industry Association, Software & Information Industry of America, and International Federation of Library Associations. He was also presented the Miles Conrad Award from the National Federation of Access and Information Services.
