Open access publisher BioMed Central, US, has announced that four articles from its journal BMC Surgery have been featured by Medscape for its Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program. Other BioMed journals featuring in Medscape's CME activities include BMC Psychiatry and BMC Family Practice.
BMC Surgery publishes original peer-reviewed research articles in surgical research, training, and practice. The journal is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed, MEDLINE, CAS, Scopus, EMBASE and Google Scholar. Readers of BMC Surgery articles can now build on their CME activities via Medscape's ACCME-accredited CME material.
BioMed Central also announced that it will expand its relationship with Medscape further to include clinically relevant articles from a broad range of BioMed Central Journals. BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders, BMC Neurology, BMC Cardiovascular Disorders and BMC Infectious Diseases will be sources of CME from the medical BMC series journals in the coming months with plans to include many more BioMed Central journals in the future.
