Mercy Medical Center opts for WK Health Clinical Solutions Sentri7 for clinical surveillance -

Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health), US, has announced that Mercy Medical Center in Iowa has selected Sentri7 for clinical surveillance for pharmacy and infection prevention use.

The Sentri7 surveillance software helps clinicians identify, track and report on a diverse range of patient care measures throughout the hospital. Sentri7 can give pharmacists a work-list of patients that need evaluation and education, with drug orders and corresponding lab values updated in real time.

Mercy Medical Center will use the Sentri7 Infection Prevention Module to help streamline infection prevention workflows including isolation management, healthcare-associated infection (HAI) investigation and National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) reporting.

Sentri7 by Pharmacy OneSource, part of WK Health, combines medication, laboratory, patient, radiology and surgery data to facilitate earlier, better, and more consistent interventions. Accelerating workflows can lead to shorter lengths of stay, lower costs, improved patient safety and reduced antibiotic resistance.
