YOUR GO-TO INTELLIGENCE RESOURCE FOR THE SCHOLARLY PUBLISHING INDUSTRY

The Monterey Institute for Technology and Education has received a $2 million grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to support a new journal - the International Journal of Learning and Media. The new journal seeks to provide a forum for research and debate about the social and cultural implications of the intersection between learning and new and emerging media. A quarterly, International Journal of Learning and Media is the second MacArthur Foundation-funded partnership between MIT Press and MITE. Their first joint initiative, the MacArthur Foundation Series on Digital Media and Learning, engaged over 56 authors to produce six volumes providing a framework for the continuing discussion on media and learning.
