Publisher Multi-Science Publishing, UK, has announced that it will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2011. To mark the occasion, the publisher is offering a 56 percent discount of 2010 list price for its collection of 27 peer reviewed journals.
According to the publisher, a number of its titles that used to be niche are now mainstream. Subscribing to the collection includes the 10 year backfile of the title Wind Engineering, which is being published by Multi-Science since 1977. Subscribers will also gain access to the backfiles of the publisher's environmental noise titles. Multi-Science Publishing's latest titles introduce readers to areas such as protective structures, micro air vehicles and structural fire engineering.
Multi-science publishes journals that seek to fill gaps in the scientific literature and are responses to technological developments that call new disciplines into existence. The publisher mainly publishes content in areas such as engineering, with an emphasis on acoustics and construction/built environment; energy and environmental studies, including renewable energy and energy policy; aerospace/aeronautics; and sports science.
