Metasearch technology provider MuseGlobal, Inc., US, has announced the appointment of John Thomas Gensch to senior vice president and chief revenue officer. Having served more than 18 years in sales and marketing roles for Fortune 500 companies, Gensch brings extensive experience in driving sustainable, scalable revenue generation to his role on the MuseGlobal executive team.
Gensch joins MuseGlobal from Cygnus Business Media, a Wisconsin-based business to business publisher, where he served as chief growth officer. In this role, Gensch led a corporate-wide effort across multiple business units to build alternative revenue streams, develop webinars for the sales program, cultivate relationships with major advertising agencies and create sales revenue programs for more than 100 employees, generating more than $97 million in annual revenue. Prior to Cygnus, he held senior management positions for a variety of successful Web-based consumer businesses and Fortune 500 clients including Knovel Corporation, Teleknowledge, Payment One, Support soft and NewsEDGE.
