The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has signed a participation agreement with CHORUS to expand public access to the results of its funded research. This agreement fortifies the relationship between CHORUS, its members, and NASA, in support of the NASA Plan for Increasing Access to the Results of Scientific Research.
Researchers will now be able to easily retrieve publicly accessible articles reporting on NASA-funded research from CHORUS member publishers’ sites or via links from the agency public access repository to the publication site.
CHORUS also facilitates linking to the data sets and author profiles of published articles reporting on NASA-funded research. CHORUS’ interoperable, distributed approach is built on open standards, distributed networks, and established infrastructure to facilitate sustainable open access, sharing, discoverability, reporting, and preservation of content reporting on funded research.Click here to read the original press release.
