Library solutions provider Ex Libris Group, Germany, has announced that the National Academic Library and Information System (NALIS) in Bulgaria has gone live with the Primo discovery and delivery solution, the SFX OpenURL link resolver, the MetaLib gateway and metasearch solution, and the DigiTool digital asset management system.
The NALIS foundation is comprised of the three academic institutions in the country: the Bulgarian Academy of Science, the Sofia University and the American University in Bulgaria, with the support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. Two founding members of NALIS - the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Sofia University - have run the Aleph integrated library system (ILS) for over 10 years.
