Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG), UK, and the Japan Antibiotics Research Association (JARA) have announced a publishing partnership for the Journal of Antibiotics. As part of the agreement, the journal will undergo a redesign including a new-look cover, website and articles.
The Journal of Antibiotics is an international journal devoted to research on bioactive microbial products. This partnership is the latest in a series of partnerships that NPG Nature Asia-Pacific is undertaking with scientific and clinical societies in this region. The journal will be able to take advantage of NPG's editorial expertise, pioneering technologies, innovative formats and world-class production to provide premium information for scientific researchers in the public and private sectors, government agencies and educators.
Formed in 1946, The Japan Antibiotics Research Association seeks to encourage research in, and spread knowledge of, microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry and pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on antibiotics and microbial products.
