The continually growing Compliance Series from NetLearning, part of Cengage Learning, targets hospitals, long-term care, home healthcare and Spanish-language professionals. The series provides consistent education on compliance and regulatory topics and improves employee understanding and retention of core compliance issues, with the ultimate goal of improving patient safety.
For 2011, the Compliance Courseware Series consists of more than 90 online courses covering important topics in the areas of Infection Control, Emergency Preparedness, Safety & Body Mechanics, Code of Conduct, Patient Safety Goals and Fire HIPAA Privacy & Security and Electrical & Utilities, among others. All course offerings have been fully updated to comply with current accreditation requirements including The Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Additionally, NetLearning's Compliance Courseware has gained the American Society for Training and Development's e-Learning Courseware Certification and was a finalist for the Best of eLearning Awards. Each course in the series can be customised by the adopting institution, allowing for individual branding and course selection.
