NetLibrary, the e-content platform of global library cooperative OCLC, Inc., US, has announced agreements with 21 publishers that will add thousands of new e-books and e-audiobooks to NetLibrary's catalogue of over 160,000 titles.
With increasing worldwide demand for electronic content, NetLibrary continually seeks to enhance its catalogue by partnering with publishers of scholarly, trade, STM and reference content. New publisher partners adding e-content to NetLibrary include:
A&C Black, a UK-based educational publisher; The Chinese University Press, a publisher of scholarly publications; Éditions MultiMondes, a Canadian French-language publisher with a diverse catalogue that includes books in medicine, environment, science, technology, history and education; Electronic & Database Publishing, Inc.; Encyclopaedia Britannica; The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE); Pensoft Publishers, a European natural science publisher; and The Peterson Institute for International Economics.
OCLC NetLibrary provides content and technical delivery solutions to institutional libraries, corporations and government agencies that facilitate the purchase, management and distribution of research, reference, digital learning and general interest content via web-based technologies. Its eContent solution is claimed to be the most broadly adopted in the market, making more than 160,000 e-books, 6,000 e-journals, 6,000 e-audiobooks, and 83 databases available through more than 16,000 libraries worldwide.
