New Deputy Editors-in-Chief appointed for International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics -

The International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO) has announced the appointment of Professor Suvarna Khadilkar and Professor Edgar Mocanu as the new Deputy Editors-in-Chief. They will join Professor Elizabeth Stringer in supporting the Editor-in-Chief, Michael Geary, in advancing the journal's mission to publish high-quality research in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.

Professor Suvarna Khadilkar recently completed her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology of India. She currently serves as the Deputy Secretary General of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), President of the Mumbai Obstetric & Gynecological Society, and Chair of the FIGO Committee on Menopause. Her extensive experience and leadership in the field make her a valuable addition to the IJGO editorial team.

Professor Edgar Mocanu is an esteemed academic and certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist practicing in Ireland, with a subspecialty certification in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). He has served on the Editorial Boards of Human Fertility and the British Fertility Society Journal. His expertise in reproductive medicine and editorial experience will significantly contribute to the journal's continued success.

In their roles as Deputy Editors-in-Chief, Professors Khadilkar and Mocanu will be responsible for evaluating submissions, selecting appropriate papers for peer review, and collaborating with Associate Editors to ensure the publication of high-quality content. They will also provide strategic input for the journal's development, including inviting topical submissions, implementing best practices, and acting as global ambassadors for IJGO.
