Digital content products and technologies provider ebrary, US, has announced a new School Collection featuring more than 6,600 e-books and other authoritative titles from leading publishers. The new subscription collection provides simultaneous, multi-user access to content designed specifically for young adults in high schools, vocational schools and college preparatory academies, as well as the public libraries that serve them.
Additionally, ebrary’s long-time partner, e-Libro, recently launched e-Libro Secondaria, a Spanish-language e-book subscription database powered by ebrary that can supplement ebrary’s School Collection or be licensed separately.
ebrary enables school administrators, teachers, librarians, and other staff to better enhance student learning with packages in Education, Psychology, Special Needs, and other areas of professional development. With these new collections, it is expected that libraries can affordably offer an instant digital library covering subject areas important to school curriculum and staff development, as well as powerful research tools that help students, teachers, and others quickly find and use the information they need.
ebrary’s School Collection and e-Libro Secundaria are currently available. Librarians and others may request a demonstration by signing up at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ebraryschooldemo.
