Academic publisher Taylor & Francis, UK, has announced that more than 1,000 new titles are now available for purchase individually through e-book technology firm ebrary. Taylor & Francis has been an ebrary publishing partner since 2001, and ebrary currently offers more than 18,500 Taylor & Francis, CRC Press, and Routledge titles under its purchase model.
Additionally, Taylor & Francis is offering libraries a 50 percent discount on nearly 2,000 titles that recently migrated from ebrary's subscription databases. These are now included in the full inventory of titles available for outright perpetual purchase, through January 31, 2008. During the migration, ebrary added more than 2,500 e-books to its subscription collections from other leading publishers.
The new selection of Taylor & Francis titles available for purchase through ebrary covers a broad range of subject areas including STM, business & economics, and education.
