Pearson, a US-based provider of educational content and services, has announced the launch of Pearson BouncePages. Now available on any mobile app store, this free app allows parents, teachers, and students to instantly launch interactive instructional content directly from a textbook page. The app was developed in collaboration with Layar, the global leader in mobile augmented reality and interactive print.
By simply snapping a picture of a pre-tagged textbook page on a mobile device, students discover interactive content illustrating the concept being taught. Engaging and educational, the interactive content includes friendly characters, entertaining scenarios, and effective explanations of the material. These features personalise student learning and provide interactive tools that allow students to practice what they are learning.
Pearson's enVisionMATH Texas 2.0 is the first instructional program to feature BouncePages in the Student Edition, Grades K–5. Each grade level features 120 pre-tagged lesson pages that instantly change static print pages into an interactive, digital learning experience.
The free BouncePages app is available for iOS (iPhone®/iPad®) and Android devices on the App Store and Google Play Store.
