Physics World, the membership magazine of the Institute of Physics (IOP), has launched a new app to provide IOP members with free access to the magazine from almost any smartphone or tablet.
The new Physics World app has been designed to complement the recently re-launched digital edition of the magazine, and to support the needs of growing membership in the international market. The app allows members to read the latest issue of Physics World, access back issues since January 2011, and download issues for reading offline. It also boasts an easy-to-read text option for viewing articles on a smaller screen.
The free app can be downloaded from the App Store and Android Market, with access to the magazine content restricted to members only.
