Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation (JNER), published by open access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has published a new thematic series entitled 'Noninvasive Brain stimulation' (NBS). The series gives an important evaluation of the emergent technologies of non-invasive brain stimulation.
The series of 6 articles brings together leaders in the fields of robotics, NBS, plasticity and motor learning, to provide an up-to-date overview for researchers and clinicians interested in physical neurorehabilitation, including their effectiveness and their possible future role in physical rehabilitation therapies.
JNER is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that aims to foster the publication of research work that results from cross-fertilization of the fields of neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and physical medicine & rehabilitation. The journal seeks to provide a forum for researchers and clinicians interested in understanding the way neuroscience and biomedical engineering are continuing to reshape physical medicine & rehabilitation. All articles published in JNER will be listed in PubMed immediately upon acceptance (after peer review), and will be covered by PubMed Central, MEDLINE, Thomson Reuters (ISI) and Embase.
