Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Emerging Leader Award, which will be presented at the 38th SSP Annual Meeting, June 1-3 in Vancouver, BC. Established in February 2012, this award acknowledges the achievements of up-and-coming leaders in scholarly publishing who are demonstrating their potential through outstanding service and contribution. Past winners include Sarah Rouhi, Maryam Ronagh, Kayte Bridgewater, and Michelle Norell.
The award recognises an SSP member who has worked in scholarly communication for seven or fewer years; and demonstrated outstanding leadership on an SSP committee or task force, and made innovative contributions to his/her field.
