The OASPA annual conference is set to bring the open access community together to discuss new developments and innovations in scholarly publishing and to enable research around the world to be openly accessible. The 2020 online conference will address open access at a time of global challenge, taking on the demands and opportunities for open scholarship in relation to past and future crises across the globe. OASPA 2020 will also be a forum for collective reflection on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the Association’s ongoing endeavour to ensure that scholarship is open and accessible to all.
The Program Committee is inviting organisations and individuals to submit a proposal for the ‘Poster Lightning Talk’ presentations. These are short talks showcasing new projects, ideas or initiatives accompanied by a poster. There will be a brief ’question and answer’ and a mechanism for online engagement.
All proposals should be submitted by July 10, 2020 to info@oaspa.org. A brief description (up to a maximum of 300 words) of the proposal is sufficient at this stage. Registration costs for the authors of successful proposals will be waived.
Interested parties may visit https://oaspa.org/conference/ for recordings, slides and posters from previous conferences, as well as information on how to register.
