Oklahoma State University Library transitions to FOLIO Library Services platform with EBSCO FOLIO -

Oklahoma State University (OSU) Library has announced its transition to the FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP) with EBSCO FOLIO hosting and implementation services from EBSCO Information Services. The move from its existing ILS will allow OSU to choose its preferred library automation solutions and build its own customizations, maximizing the workflow experience for its users.

EBSCO FOLIO provides a flexible, customizable experience that allows libraries to acquire the applications they need to create a unique system and avoid forced packages and predetermined workflows. By leveraging FOLIO’s open framework, EBSCO FOLIO will integrate OSU’s new and existing EBSCO resources to enhance the library’s workflow and patron services.

The University will integrate EBSCO Knowledge Base to streamline its electronic resource management (ERM) applications and GOBI® Library Solutions from EBSCO for the library’s book selection and acquisitions. The institution will also leverage EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) to enhance end-users’ research experience.

The transition to FOLIO will enable OSU Library to enhance its workflow experience and provide its users with an improved research experience. It will also contribute to the FOLIO community's growth by building its own customizations and sharing its experience with like-minded institutions.
