Oncology Nursing News®, a digital and print media enterprise, has named Deborah A. Boyle as its editor-in-chief following the retirement of Lisa Schulmeister.
An early leader in oncology nursing, Boyle brings more than four decades of oncology nursing experience to the role. She has worked as an educator, a clinical nurse specialist, an advanced practice nurse liaison, a program leader and a researcher.
Among her long list of accolades, in 1999, Boyle was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Nursing, an honour offered to just 1,000 of America's over 3 million nurses. In addition, she has delivered over 600 presentations in 46 states and in 14 countries.
