Online Information 2010 conference programme announced -

Incisive Media, the UK-based organiser of the 2010 Online Information conference, has announced that the theme for this year's event will be 'Discover new ways of working in the linked and social web'. The event is scheduled from November 30 - December 2, 2010, at the Olympia Conference Centre, London, UK.

This year's opening keynote speaker is Dion Hinchcliffe the well known Fortune 100 Business Strategist and Enterprise Architect. The author of numerous books, white papers and articles on Web 2.0, he is widely acclaimed as a top social media and collaboration expert and consultant.

During the course of the three day conference more than 100 information industry experts will address hundreds of attendees from over 40 countries. In 2010 the conference features four strong tracks - exploiting open and linked data; harnessing opportunity from the social web and 'the cloud'; information professionals demonstrating value and impact; and new platforms and user behaviours for delivering content.

Internationally recognised online information leaders have meticulously composed the individual track sessions in order to address, challenge and debate important industry trends, technologies and pressing issues. Those attending the sessions will learn how information professionals can demonstrate value, create impact and develop leadership skills for collaboration and social media success. Linked and open data projects and case studies in government, business and libraries will be presented and openly debated - many for the first time. Emerging technologies and devices will be a major focus.

Abo Akademi University, Amazon, Dutch Parliament, Guardian News and Media, Mid-Sweden University, Microsoft, National Archives, PwC Canada, Royal Society of Chemistry and Shell are among the high profile organisations represented by the speakers at the conference.

The conference format is flexible so that each delegate can tailor their own personal experience of the event. The topics from four different tracks can be individually mixed and matched so attendees can customise the event to suit their priorities and interests. Delegates also get automatic free entry to the Online Information 2010 exhibition which runs alongside the conference.
