Oxford University Press launches new OA journal - Neurosurgery Open -

Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced the launch of Neurosurgery Open, an online-only, fully Open Access publication with all content published under the Creative Commons Attribution License CC-BY-NC. The first articles will be published in January 2020 and from then, the content will be published on a rolling basis with issues closed quarterly.

Published on behalf of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the journal will provide a high-profile space for the open access publication of scientific papers dealing with clinical neurosurgery and experimental neurosurgery, such as case series, case reports, and other information of interest to neurosurgeons. OUP also publishes Neurosurgery and Operative Neurosurgery on behalf of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS).

Dr. Nelson M. Oyesiku, Editor-in-Chief, NEUROSURGERY® Publications, will lead Neurosurgery Open supported by an editorial board of nine Section Editors representing the major subspecialties of neurosurgery.
