Paradigm launches new research content platform, Reference Global -

Paradigm Publishing Services has introduced its new digital content platform, reference-global.com, designed to replace and enhance the former sciendo.com site. Developed with input from journal editors, librarians, and partner presses, the platform aims to provide faster access, improved discoverability, and better content management for global research communities.

The new site hosts more than 400 active open access journals, nearly 10,000 eBooks (including over 150 open access eBooks), and more than 40 conference proceedings. It also offers tools for discovering, organizing, and managing scholarly resources, with almost 9,800 new titles added in the past year.

Among its features are an AI-powered search tool that supports multilingual, natural-language, and full-text searches for precise results; enhanced journal pages with detailed peer review process, APC charges, and metric information; and a personal reader area that allows users to organize bookshelves, set alerts, and manage purchase history.

The platform also includes a librarian portal offering streamlined integration with library systems, COUNTER 5–compliant reporting, downloadable KBART and MARC records, and options for managing library consortia. By combining open access and subscription models, the platform bridges academic research and professional practice, offering extensive resources for students, educators, and professionals.

Paradigm stated that reference-global.com represents a major step toward building a more user-friendly, transparent, and connected digital environment for scholarly communication.
