The Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) and IWA Publishing have reached a transformative agreement that will combine reading access to IWA Publishing journals with immediate open access (OA) publishing for CAUL affiliated authors.
The three-year partnership, which takes effect on January 1, 2023, allows researchers from participating institutions in Australia and New Zealand to publish OA across IWA Publishing’s extensive range of journals, without an Article Processing Charge.
This arrangement is compatible with the Australian Research Council’s OA policy, which states that all ARC funded research must be made Openly Accessible.
