Educational publisher Pearson, US, has announced that its innovative 2007 elementary school mathematics programme, enVisionMATH, won three awards at the recent 2007 Chicago Book & Media Show. The annual event honours excellence in the planning, supervision, and execution of the physical and visual aspects of publishing media.
The math programme received two Crystal Book Awards of Excellence for School Publishing - one for cover design and the other for the programme's four-colour internal layout. It also won the coveted People's Choice Award, which is voted on by show attendees.
Another Pearson programme recognised was Pearson's Reading Street-My Sidewalks, as Honorable Mention, School Publishing, Ancillaries category.
