PeerJ has announced Free July on PeerJ Chemistry journals. In order to give the chemistry community an opportunity to experience its industry-leading customer service and submission system, PeerJ is making all five Chemistry journals free in July 2021.
Authors can submit to any PeerJ Chemistry journal in July and, if their article is accepted after peer review, the $1,195 Article Processing Charge (APC) will be waived off.
New submissions must be in scope for the relevant PeerJ chemistry journals and must be completed between July 1 and midnight PST July 31, 2021. This discount is only for the publication fee, other charges may still apply if applicable (e.g. for articles longer than 40 typeset pages). Submissions that are started but not fully submitted, and manuscripts submitted outside of this period, are not eligible.
The first Special Issues calling for submissions to PeerJ Analytical Chemistry and PeerJ Organic Chemistry have just launched: “Analytical Methods in Plant Science” and “Organic Chemistry for Health”. Submissions to the chemistry journals relevant to these Special Issues are eligible for free publication if the author submits their abstract for review by the Special Issue Editors by the end of July. Authors of accepted abstracts will be given an APC waiver code, and their full submission must be made by the deadline stated in the relevant call for papers. The free publication code must be used for the article approved by the Special Issue editors and is not transferable.
