Medical publishing solutions provider PeerView, US, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Veritas Clinical Trials Register platform (VCTR) from Veritas Medicine, a privately held company.
VCTR is claimed to be the only enterprise scalable online compliance platform available to support the increasingly complex clinical data disclosure process for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Clinical data disclosure includes the timely registration and updating of clinical trials information as well as the posting of trial results to publicly accessible websites. In addition to acquiring the VCTR application, several executives from Veritas Medicine have also joined PeerView.
This acquisition will extend PeerView's comprehensive publication planning suite. Biopharma clients will now be able to significantly reduce the burden of maintaining large and complex clinical development programmes in full compliance with the recent Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act and other current or emerging regulations, in both the US and globally. Publication planning and clinical data disclosure, two critical pharmaceutical business processes, can now benefit from tight integration between VCTR and PeerView's PubSTRAT Web Suite, resulting in significant time and cost savings for clients.
PeerView's PubSTRAT suite of publication planning applications is a comprehensive and integrated solution designed around industry best practices to facilitate transparent publication planning processes within biopharma organisations.
