Academic publishing company Pensoft has announced that two of its open access journals - MycoKeys and Nature Conservation - are now accepted for indexing by one of the largest abstract and citation databases of peer-reviewed literature Scopus. By joining the vast Scopus family of reputed peer-reviewed literature, the journals are set to be honoured with additional credibility on the academic stage.
MycoKeys and Nature Conservation now join the growing group of Pensoft journals included in the prestigious Scopus list. The announcement comes only a couple of weeks after the journals were also accepted by several indexing services of Thomson Reuters, including Science Citation Index Expanded.
Over the years ZooKeys, PhytoKeys, Comparative Cytogenetics, Subterranean Biology, and Journal of Hymenoptera Research have all blended successfully in the exemplary Scopus portfolio.
Currently Scopus comprises ‘twice as many titles and over 30 percent more publishers listed than any other abstract and index database.’ It covers research fields across the whole academic spectrum including science, mathematics, engineering, technology, health and medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities.
