The first issue of the Journal of Scientific and Technological Innovations (STI) has been published on Pensoft’s ARPHA platform. The journal is designed to provide an international forum for peer‑reviewed research across a wide range of scientific and technological disciplines.
ARPHA is an end‑to‑end publishing solution that manages the full workflow from manuscript submission to indexing, distribution, hosting, and archiving. Currently, the platform hosts about 100 open‑access journals spanning multiple scientific fields.
Supervised by Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), STI publishes original contributions in areas including food science, environmental science, chemical engineering, and materials science. Its editorial scope covers topics such as biotechnology, sustainability, catalysis, nanomaterials, and applied chemistry.
The journal is led by Editor‑in‑Chief Thi Hong Anh Le of HUIT, with Deputy Editors‑in‑Chief Tuyen Truong of RMIT University, Australia, and Thanh‑Binh Nguyen of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan.
The inaugural issue features six articles across food science, materials science, and applied food technology. Research topics include cost‑benefit analysis of small‑holder fish farming in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, ultrasound‑assisted starch modification for functional food development, melatonin‑based preservation of cherry tomatoes, MXene‑based composite applications, dermatological uses of coconut oil, and bilberry anthocyanin retention in sustainable microcapsules.
The diversity of contributions in the first issue reflects the journal’s multidisciplinary scope. Researchers interested in submitting manuscripts are invited to consult the journal’s guidelines and submission portal.
