Penton Technology Group has named T.C. Doyle, formerly Executive Editor of IT and cloud for Channel Partners magazine, as Senior Content Director, overseeing market-leading Channel brands, MSPmentor, Talkin' Cloud, The VAR Guy and The WHIR (Web Hosting Industry Review). A veteran technology writer, editor and video storyteller, Doyle has covered the IT industry for more than two decades.
A former analyst with Amazon Consulting, he previously worked as the executive editor of VARBusiness Magazine. He has been a frequent speaker at IT industry events and trade shows.
Another tech veteran, Lisa Schmeiser, was named Content Director, Windows IT Pro. Schmeiser comes to Penton Technology from InfoWorld, where she most recently has been the newsletter editor. Previously Schweiser served as senior associate editor of Macworld and Executive Editor and Senior Editor of macworld.com. She was also a blogger for the San Francisco Chronicle and reported for Investor's Business Daily. In her spare time Lisa writes and edits a curatorial newsletter as a testbed for developing best practices for organic audience building and engagement, hyperlinking and content presentation.
