Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that Pharmacy OneSource has launched Schedule OneSource, a new application for pharmacists.
Schedule OneSource helps pharmacy directors generate and manage staff schedules quickly and easily, with real-time data and integrated email communication. It helps hospital pharmacies better utilise staff time and key competencies by streamlining their scheduling process.
A 'smart scheduling' feature provides drop-down menus that present available and qualified staff for filling open shifts. Schedule forecasting builds schedules for up to two years in advance with known future events, enabling advanced planning and earlier confirmation from team members.
Schedule OneSource is a web-based programme with single sign-on capabilities, requiring no hardware or software installation on site. With touchscreen capabilities, employees can login to submit time-off requests, view schedules, confirm or communicate shift changes, anywhere, anytime with a computer, smartphone or tablet.
