Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health (WK Health), US, has announced that Pharmacy OneSource, software-as-a-service provider of Simplifi 797, a quality assurance application, is hosting a complimentary webinar on environmental sampling.
The webinar, 'What's Bugging You About USP 797 Environmental Sampling?,' is scheduled for April 13, 2011 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST at http://www.pharmacyonesource.com/webinars. Presenters include Dr. Alice Weissfeld, President and CEO and Laboratory Director of Microbiology Specialists Incorporated, and Eric S. Kastango, President and Founder of Clinical IQ, LLC.
Since June 2008, the expanded USP Chapter 797 environmental sampling requirements have been in effect. It continues to be part of the chapter that generates lots of questions. Weissfeld and Kastango will host a webinar to review the Environmental Sampling requirements of USP Chapter 797 and answer questions about air, surface and gloved fingertip sampling. They will also share their experiences with the issues and challenges in maintaining an effective and appropriate environmental sampling programme.
