Digital preservation specialist Portico has announced that the European Scientific Institute (ESI) will preserve e-journals with Portico, ensuring that they will be secure and available into the future.
ESI publishes several peer reviewed journals, among which is one of the largest interdisciplinary journals in Europe—the European Scientific Journal (ESJ).
In a related announcement, Portico announced preservation deals with RCVS Knowledge and Sociedade Brasileira de Reprodução Assistida (SBRA).
RCVS Knowledge is the independent charity associated with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Their ambition is to become a global intermediary for evidence based veterinary knowledge by providing access to information that is of immediate value to practicing veterinary professionals and directly contributes to evidence based clinical decision-making.
SBRA is a scientific program focusing on major advances and current international reproductive medicine.
