Portico announces preservation deals with Maxwell Scientific Publication Corp., IJPHY and the ASCE -

Digital preservation specialist Portico has announced that Maxwell Scientific Publication Corp. (MSP) will preserve e-journals with Portico, ensuring that they will be secure and available into the future.

MSP operates as an independent science and technology publisher with a global reputation for quality products and services to contribute to the advancement of research knowledge.

In a related announcement, Portico announced preservation deals with the International Journal of Physiotherapy (IJPHY) and the American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE).

IJPHY is an open access, peer-reviewed, bi-monthly journal that publishes genuine and original research work. It provides free access of the articles for students, academicians, clinicians for future research, and establishes a database for researchers and clinicians for implementation of research findings into clinical Physiotherapy practice.

The American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) has been a Portico participant for e-journal preservation since 2007. ASCE will now preserve their full library, including ebooks, with Portico, ensuring that their content will be secure and available into the future.
