Project MUSE is excited to announce the addition of two prestigious sport science journals from FiT Publishing to its platform. FiT Publishing, a non-profit publisher at the International Center for Performance Excellence (ICPE) in the College of Applied Human Sciences (CAHS) at West Virginia University, brings valuable academic content in the field of sport sciences.
The newly hosted journals are:
• International Journal of Sport Finance: This journal provides a high-level forum for the global dissemination of current research on sport finance from a multidisciplinary perspective. It is the official journal of the European Sport Economics Association, offering insights and analyses that are crucial for understanding the financial aspects of sports worldwide.
• Sport Marketing Quarterly: Dedicated to the dissemination of sport marketing information, this journal serves both practicing professionals and academics. It focuses on publishing high-quality research that advances the study and practice of sport marketing, catering to the professional interests of the sport marketing community.
Both journals serve as important platforms for the exchange of ideas between academicians and practitioners, contributing significantly to the field of sport business. They join other notable sport-related journals on Project MUSE, such as the Journal of Sport History, Journal of Sports Media, and International Journal of Sport and Religion.
Titles in Project MUSE's hosted journal program are not included in its curated journal collections. Institutional subscription orders for both the International Journal of Sport Finance and Sport Marketing Quarterly can be placed through the usual library subscription agents or directly with Project MUSE. Current electronic subscribers have already been given access to these journals on the MUSE platform.
