Non-profit scientific publisher Institute of Physics (IOP) Publishing, UK, has announced that IOPscience extra subscribers can now search for ProQuest Dissertations and Theses (PQDT) from the IOPscience website platform.
According to the publisher, it is for the first time that physics-related graduate works are being made available directly alongside IOP Publishing peer-reviewed journal content. When searching for content, users can view ProQuest citation and abstract information from 1997 to the current year, in the subject areas covered by IOP Publishing journals.
PQDT content will be updated on IOPscience extra on a monthly basis. ProQuest abstracts link directly through to the full-text dissertations on the ProQuest site, where access is subject to licence conditions.
This is a beta release, and IOP Publishing will continue to make improvements to this feature and communicate changes to its IOPscience extra subscribers.
